Hangzhou Chuankong General Equipment Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Dachuan Air Separation Plant Co., Ltd. are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Sichuan Air Separation Plant (Group) Co., Ltd. We are specialized manufacturer for manufacturing Air Separation Unit, Cryogenic Liquid Storage Tank, and Cryogenic Liquid Vaporization Equipment, etc. The company covers an area of over 130 mu, with a total construction area of more than 70,000 square meters. It has more than 400 outstanding employees and over 80 senior and intermediate professional and technical personnel.

Hangzhou Chuankong holds Pressure Vessel Design and Manufacturing Licenses, Pressure Piping Installation License and Pressure Piping Elements Manufacturing License issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation. We are certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Furthermore, we have obtained the America ASME Certificate and U-Stamp.

Recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise supported by the state, we operate our own Technology R&D Center. We have obtained over thirty patents, with two projects designated as National Torch Program initiatives. Multiple new products have been listed as the First Piece/Set Major Technical Equipment at provincial and municipal levels, as well as Technological Innovation Projects. Notably, our self-developed Open-Rack Vaporizer (ORV) was successfully deployed in the CNPC Tangshan Project, marking a significant achievement in domestic production and filling a critical gap in the Chinese market.

The "Hangtong" trademark is recognized as a Famous Trademark of Zhejiang Province, and our "Cryogenic Liquid Storage Tanks" are awarded the title of Zhejiang Province Famous Brand Product.

Our History

1991-2025: Hangzhou Chuankong 35-Year Journey

For over three decades, Hangtong team has pursued excellence and innovation, upholding the principle of "All for customer, all for development," and adhering to the core values of "Integrity, Diligence, Unity, and Innovation."
From these humble beginnings as a village-owned workshop, Hangzhou Chuankong has evolved into a modern manufacturer specializing in air separation equipment and cryogenic storage and transportation equipment. In 2011, Zhejiang Dachuan was established and commenced production. Operating under integrated management with Hangzhou Chuankong, the company significantly enhanced its manufacturing capabilities.
During the period of the "14th Five-Year Plan," all employees seized opportunities and strived with determination, enabling sustained and rapid development in both production and operations.

1991

In 1991, SASPG and Yuhang County Gas Equipment Installation and Maintenance Department jointly established Hangzhou Yuhang County (City) General Machinery Joint Company.

1998

In 1998, Hangzhou Yuhang City General Machinery Joint Company was renamed Yuhang City Chuankong General Equipment Co., Ltd.

2001

In 2001, the company was renamed Hangzhou Chuankong General Equipment Co., Ltd., commonly known as Hangzhou Chuankong.

1998-2006

From 1998 to 2006, Hangzhou Chuankong developed and produced a range of equipment including PSA oxygen generation plants, small-scale air separation units, and 1000Y/1000Y model full liquid ASU. The company also designed and manufactured cryogenic liquid storage tanks with capacities ranging from 1.2 to 150 m³, as well as large-scale cryogenic liquid flat-bottom tanks with the capacity of 500–1000 m³.

2007-2010

From 2007 to 2010, Hangzhou Chuankong relocated from Xi'an Village, Nanyuan Street, Yuhang District to Liansheng Village in the same subdistrict. Following the move, the company constructed new factory buildings and added advanced equipment, transforming from a village workshop into a modern manufacturer specializing in air separation equipment and cryogenic storage and transportation solutions. The company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise supported by the state, and its project—the small-scale, multi-mode, energy-saving fully-cryogenic air separation unit—was included in the National Torch Program. The "Hangtong" trademark was awarded the title of Zhejiang Famous Trademark, and its cryogenic liquid storage tanks were named Zhejiang Famous Brand Product. The company's products enjoy a strong reputation in the market and have been exported to regions and countries including Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

2011

In 2011, Zhejiang Dachuan officially commenced production, becoming the first manufacturing facility in China ASU industry with a dedicated heavy-duty wharf. During this period, it continuously enhanced its capabilities in integrated solution provision, design and manufacturing, as well as technological innovation. The company maintained its recognitions including the National High-Tech Enterprise status, Zhejiang Famous Brand Product, and Zhejiang Famous Trademark.

2016-2020

From 2016 to 2020, the company continuously improved its capabilities in integrated equipment supply, design and manufacturing, as well as technological innovation. In 2018–2019, the 30,000 Nm³/h air separation unit designed and manufactured by Hangzhou Chuankong for Indonesia project was successfully commissioned. This ASU incorporated a series of innovative processes such as a multi-layer main condenser and skid-mounted cold box, achieving an argon recovery rate of over 88%. The company was honored as a "Provincial R&D Center" and obtained more than twenty patents.

2021-2025

From 2021 to 2025, Hangzhou Chuankong seized opportunities presented by the rapid growth of China's new energy sectors such as photovoltaic, polysilicon, and lithium-ion batteries, achieving a significant operational breakthrough. Hangzhou Chuankong supplied various types of air separation units and liquefaction plants to companies including Indonesia Tsingshan Steel Group, GCL Group, Ronbay Lithium, Fulin Precision, and Zhejiang Zhonglong Gas. All facilities were commissioned successfully on the first attempt, achieving domestic advanced levels in both output and energy efficiency. Hangzhou Chuankong manufactured large-scale cold boxes and modular units for 40000, 60000 and 90000 Nm³/h air separation plants. Its storage tanks increasingly entered specialized fields such as aerospace and new energy, with products delivered to JiuZhou Yunjian, Landspace, and HICAL for use in launch systems. Additionally, the company designed and built 400–500 m³ cryogenic liquid storage tanks for domestic and international clients. During this period, Hangzhou Chuankong was recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" Enterprise.
